now I go deep into the maggot blogosphere and bring to you some well hidden lies.. watch and enjoy.. you need popcorns for this one.. its gonna be another long one..
One visitor popped up this: hey..i was told thatt if u have a state univ degree it has certain weightage when u apply abroad or for mba..hw far is it true that central univ are having more weight-age than the state..??
Now...what can be more weird than this? Nobody in abroad cares about a University being Central or State!!! They just worry about the rankings, as of now DTU is proudly No.12 on University Rankings...and there is no reason why it will not continue to be ther
this is perhaps the biggest bone of contention between me and the operators. their claim that universities look at some random stupid rankings appearing in some indian newspaper or magazine is the biggest piece of bullshit i ever heard. i doubt any of the maggots running this blogspot actually have any experience with US or any other foriegn admissions committee.. let me put some other credentials of mine on the table.. aside from working on my own admission packets, I used to be an active member of this forum www.edulix .com for over three years where i have helped thousands of aspirants from all across india answering their queries about admissions and profile evaluations.. so based on my experience (which we dont know if these maggots have any cause they have no name :( so sad.. ) I can tell you how admission committees work.
when you send you application packet abroad lets take the example of US, these days, most of things are done on the computer but most universities still only accept (or used to two years ago ) paper transcripts. these transcripts along with other materials you submit online go to the department to which you apply to for a particular program. for each position in a deptt, an excellent university gets more than 10 times the applicants. so the first round of screening is usually done by a graduate programs coordinators. so profiles which dont make the cut, their packets are never presented to the faculty for discussion.. usually only 25% of the total applicants make the cut here.. and this is where converting DCE to DTU brings maximum harm. DCE affiliated to Delhi university which according to wiki pedia
The University of Delhi (Devanāgarī:दिल्ली विश्वविद्यालय, DU) is a central university situated in Delhi, India and is funded by Government of India. Established in 1922, it offers courses at the undergraduate and post-graduate level. Vice-President of India Mohammad Hamid Ansari is the Chancellor of the university. It has been ranked as the top non IIT university in India by the THES - QS world universities ranking.[2] The university has two campuses, namely north campus and south campus in the northern and southern part of the city respectively. The north campus is well connected with the yellow line of the Delhi Metro. The station is called Vishwavidyalaya, which means "university" in Hindi and Sanskrit. North campus is about 2.5 km from Delhi Vidhan Sabha and 7.0 km from ISBT.
happens to be the top non IIT university.. compare this to DTU
Delhi Technological University (DTU), [हिन्दी : दिल्ली प्रौद्योगिकी विश्वविद्यालय] is among the premier engineering colleges in India and is amongst the top 10 engineering colleges in India. It was established in 1941, originally as Delhi Polytechnic and was under the direct control of Government of India. The college is presently under the Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi since 1963 and is affiliated to the University of Delhi since 1952.[1]
so a graduate coordinator who has been getting packets from DU forever suddenly gets packets from DTU and she is like what the hell is this?? ah well we have enough applicants from IIT dump this shit.. so yes if you maggots say going solo cowboy style is way ahead for DCE you are wrong.. students will suffer for foreign admissions due to this change and please do not debate that.. period!! (man i like using period puts u on a fake moral high ground.. naa i dont need it.. i am already there.. will refrain!!)
ohk next topic..
He has no role except putting a proposal in place, which describes the need for more attention to this great Institute
yeah he had no role he jsut made a proposal oh how innocent he is.. lets talk about PB sharmas role.. from one of my previous posts
well known academicians of indian origin within and outside india were sent the blue-print of DTU and their comments sought.and these proposals were complied and presented to the competent authority.. however what was probably missing from those proposals was the reactions of people who were opposed to this change..
now back to maggot spot.. this can be bit confusing but please bear with me.. this is what maggots have to say
nother concern is why PBS Sir is not joining the students in their demand for Central Character? Well, first and foremost, he is a government employee. and hence cannot indulge in any anti-establishment practices (and opposing the state government decision amounts to exactly that). Secondly, after what these agitators have done (with their vicious, cheap personal attacks), do you really think he can join you for anything? This might have been possible, in fact, very possible, if the approach to this campaign was different.
well maggots if your priya Pb sharma had held a referendum and all stakeholders, such as students, parents and alumini been involved, and online poll taken and then the decision were to be taken democratically, a campaign might not have been required.. but you take this opportunity to tell your ring leader hindsight is a bitch whose rabies hits u 24 hours after the bite..
anyhow next point about this lockheed martin business
i found this article here.. they say there is direct funding, the article says in this language
The corporation will provide grant to the student group of DTU with Lockheed Martin-generated design space to structure their efforts.
but i dont see any structured language anywhere that how much money will be provided over how many years.. most probaly, this is some made up temporary goodwill gesture before the visit of american president.. his closeness to her highness ensures that some such collaborative spoils are thrown this way.. but this DOES not necessarily percolate to anything for students
now the fake claims made listen to this very interesting..
The DCE team surpassed 26 teams from top ranking American Institutes like MIT, Cornell University to notch the widely-acclaimed Directors Award organized by Association of Unmanned Vehicle Systems International (AUVSI) in association with US Navy.
from one their websites.. now the point is.. look at the standings below.. no mean feat this one yes..but if you compare it to other US school in the standing, DTU is actually 12th so i dont see the point in making soo much hooplah about it...
you can find the standings here

also like i have said before, most top universities dont endorse these student projects as research.. they just provide them with faculty and lab support and they do what they have to do.. so while dce is happy beating cornell at toy car competitions, look at what cornell is achieving..
in brief
They're mundane, yet daunting tasks: Tidying a messy room. Assembling a bookshelf from a kit of parts. Fetching a hairbrush for someone who can't do it herself. What if a robot could do it for you?
Assistant professor of computer science Ashutosh Saxena is working to bring such robots into homes and offices. He leads Cornell's Personal Robotics Lab, which develops software for complex, high-level robotics. Among the lab's goals are programming robots that can clean up a disheveled room, assemble an Ikea bookshelf and load and unload a dishwasher -- all without human intervention.
A word of note here, I in no way undermine the efforts of students going into these projects.. this is all very good.. i congratulate you on your efforts but i also implore you to set bigger goals.. there is no limit to what you can achieve.. open your minds.. making toy cars while impressive is not real research.. figure out a problem, solve it, write it up publish it.. it will give you a heightened satisfaction.. if its engineering solutions that you wish to pursue, pursue something that is of use to you to the humanity.. for example, you know of the high flourine content in the DCE waters.. design a low cost reverse osmosis filter.. your bones will be better for it.. or set up an intra campus network so you can make phone calls within a campus for free .. (this will also eliminate the need to put jammers as shree PbS can monitor your convo from his office (see maggots i am not the biggest schmuck around..) or make satellites that can be launched into orbits and give real time data for scientific research... then u dont need this multi lakh rupees for your visa fees and plane tickets to go to US. this is tax payer money, money that your parents pay to the indian government.. money that should be used for R&D purposes.. if you have so much drive to mount on this big a project do it without expectation of any sponsorship from the college.. do it for yourself..
so while the comparison to cornell is over, lets go to some other aspects of whats maggots said..
13) No regular faculty in the School of Management of DTU.
Facts: (i) Nothing could be far from truth then a misguide such as this assertation. The fact is that three regular faculty members all possessing PhD degrees in Management have been appointed in the School of Management of DTU in addition to Prof. S.K. Garg himself a Ph.D in Industrial Management and two other adjunct regular faculty from Mechanical and Humanities Department.
three faculty in a school of management.. now i am laughing out louuuddd.. this is the biggest joke i have seen ever!! who asked you to start an MBA program immediately?? maybe a year could have been taken and proper faculty appointed before jumping the gun.. but alas money needs to be made right??
so three faculty.. lets go a little deep in this one.. this is the website for RIT saunders school of management..not a very top notch school...please count the number of faculty members here.. three?? you gotto be fucking kidding me!! you start a bschool and call yourself a university, with three faculty members running the show?? i wish the mba grads coming out of this DTU all the best!!
12) Not applying for approval of AICTE for the new courses introduced in DTU.
Facts: (i) DTU being a Technological University established by Govt. of Delhi does not require approval of AICTE for its UG / PG programs. The AICTE covers affiliated institutions which the DCE was.
this one is the most interesting one.. AICTE approval is not required.. lets see.. the student faculty ratio at present (this is very approximate so bear with me) is 20 : 1.. which for the benefit of brainless maggots means 20 students for each faculty..
aicte stipulates the following
he desirable student to teacher ratio for engineering degree program for the model curriculum will be 10:1. However, it should not be allowed to rise beyond 15:1.
this can be found here
so while it is not required, there is no way in hell AICTE would give recognition to courses at DTU.. period!!
(ii) In all 49 new regular faculty members have been recruited by DTU and they have joined academic departments in June / July this year. Thus, reducing the shortage of regular faculty considerably. The new faculty has joined in Departments of Applied Physics / Engineering Physics (08), Applied Chemistry (05), Polymer Science and Chemical Technology (02), Electrical and Electronics Engineering (04), Electronics and Communication (05), Computer Engineering and Software Engineering (03), Information Technology (06), Bio-Technology (03), Mechanical and Production Engineering / Automobile Engineering (06), Civil and Environmental Engineering (03), Training and Placement (01) and Delhi School of Management (03). The details of those joined have already been published in the last issue of DTU Times August edition and the updated list is given below:
interesting argument.. if you see the list provided on the webpage..the number of faculties holding a phd is roughly 50%.. again, I am not anti non phd faculty but then again those who are these PhD holders, how many of them have a publication record better or even comparable than the best researcher currently in DCE?? how many experimentalists?? how many theoreticians?? was any startup funding given??
this actually drwas from the point that i have already made and was never replied to.. i have looked at most of these new faculty members and I have nothing impressive to report about.. I ask you to look at their records as well.. but then again who can understand?? people see numbers.. ooo 49.. whr did they come from different question all together..
14) Lengthy procedure for getting anything done.
Students are advised to forward their applications through their respective Heads of the Departments to avoid any delay in processing their applications. In any case specific cases, if any, can be redressed through the Student Grievance Committee headed by the Dean (Student Welfare).
bureaucratic bullshit... procedures are lengthy.. no remedy.. please get it addressed from here and there.. more running around..
ah some of the other points about placements and all i have already covered.. and i was told while you are no oracle but we are oracles and we can predict that you will eat your words.. (what double standards!!)
finally before i sign off for the night.. i copy and paste here one of my comments from my blogspot which might shed some light on my real motivations
point isnt to dismantle PBS. he is wayy too powerful to be dismantled by a blogspot. the point it to make a point. this is democracy. everyone has a right to voice their concerns. voices cannot be shut down..
also before the maggots reply to biodiesel, i recommend they watch this movie
to people who are interested in knowing, this guy has been producing biodiesel at the back of his van since way before PB sharma put up his fake reactor in DCE campus and uses the fuel to run that same van.
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1294164/
one more thing!! these maggots have a habbit of twisting words out of context.. small slithery creatures these, probably expert at it!!
here we go.. this is what i wrote in the comments of their blog
you talk about instances of corruption has ever a single drop of biodiesel be produced? all these assembled vehicles which go to competitions abroad do they even run? some best effort trophy won cause you were the only team from a third world country funded by money which comes from unscrupulous means hardly justifies itself as an excellence
this may not be clear to their pea brains but i meant that this competition where they enter are mostly frequented by US teams.. they see a team coming from what they perceive as a third world country and they are a little easy on the consolation prize
to which this is what they wrote
ust how long have you been @ Rochester? You scumbag, you already declare your own country Third World? Your and your entire generation of scumbags originated here....Have some respect. We remain Third World because of Third Class citizens like you. Anyways, this is not a debate on National Pride.
an opportunity to take potshots and hurl abuses by twisting sentences out of context.. bah for ur record its been over 4 years...
jana and asta lavista!!

I was told about some of the achievements of this blogger by someone and he also said that some of the allegations leveled against this blogger were also correct to a certain extent. Although we do not support the cause of this blogger.
I don't think that its the institution that matters as much as the individual. There have been many personalities like this non-topper whose grades were even less than 70% but their ability was unquestionable. I being a DCEite maybe having the same DU tag with my applications but I don't think that DU does any favors with the negative publicity that it gets because of all its sick, pathetic and despicable teachers and I have personal experience regarding that.
DU had only given shame to us they constantly said that their problem was DCE and they wanted to get rid of it and when DCE decides to get rid of this problem called DU then all of a sudden DU has a problem with that also. So the final conclusion should be drawn that DU is itself a problem creating problems for others and saying that yeah we are the best. Not any different to what PBS does. Right?
You know that a majority of the students at DCE suffer from being in DCE their mind gets washed up I do not know of your time but currently the students are not that capable and experienced to take such decisions and neither are the faculty I must add. An online poll the idea is nice but it again will not work cause this is DCE and you are not here.
Now the Lockheed martin thing let me tell you that you are a complete stranger to the situation they have agreed to give crores of money (in rupees) to DCE/DTU UAS team . There is more than direct funding. I think its about 4 crores that there. It sure is big so stop putting this claim.
Their performance was much much improved and they all did training in Lockheed Martin although they missed their mid sems for that and you were involved in instigating students to do all this. Students like me were forced not to give the mid sems. The ones who had the courage were just Out of this world but at least one was not only threatened to dire consequences but some protesters even went to beat him although he was saved somehow and I think PBS would have been behind saving him .
Making cars requires money and college helps to an extent but their hands are also tied they can't give crores of rupees.
And yes I was told that you were never involved in a car project but let me tell you that car projects are very challenging and involves a lot of problems.
AICTE is itself is facing corruption charges so no need to discuss that issue ! AICTE selected DTU to be shown to politician that AICTE is also doing some good with some good institutions. That ends this debate.
Ph.D or non Ph.D it does not matter as long as they teach well and what I get till now is that most of them are very good especially when we compare them to the existing lot of faculties we have. I do not think any fund etc is given. Many have come from abroad and some were interviewed using skype also . Was that possible with DTU ?
Bio-Diesel Agreed
my dear friend
thank you for your feedback.. please take a few minutes of your time and go through my reply as well
Delhi university, regardless of its protests and despicable teachers as u so claim, still has some of the leading experts in theoretical and experiment condensed matter physics, nuclear physics, physical and organic chemistry.. their international fame ensures that applicants of erst while DCE are evaluated in the same way as their IITian counter parts.
It is indeed sad for me to see that you believe that students at DCE were unable to come come to a conclusion about where they wish to see their institution.. It is indeed as sorry state of reflection on your own mindset.. back in my day, DCEites were capable of achieving whatever they wished to achieve and i strongly believe they are in a similar position today as well.. all that is required is a little bit of positive imagination which of course gets taken away in an oppressive environment..
as far as the LM issue goes, I am glad that there is some real money involved.. I was making arguments based on my past experiences.. mostly there was never ny real money involved
I do not discount the fact that AICTE is corrupt..but that organization has set a maximum student is to faculty ratio.. all i am pointing out is that that ratio is not being adhered to...
please read my previous post carefully... i have always maintained that instigating students was never my agenda. in that post i have clearly stated that I raised my opinion like people are allowed to in a democracy and I was castigated for it.. which is incorrect.. The other issues that you raise about faculty and such, I will cover in the next post..
thanks
prashant
It was good to read your blog. I agree with most ills you point out in our system regardless of the DCE/DTU conversion.
New faculty is at best only at par with average DCE standards (which weren't very high as a whole anyway). And i can say this from personal experience.
I think there is a larger problem with the attitude of the students as well. What you point out seems to fit very well as symptoms of that. We don't want to learn, make genuine effort, or even be sincere to our course. Innovation and research are way beyond our reach.
I don't find one person willing to make an iota of effort towards learning without any specific (materialistic) end in mind. Marks, placement, mba, msc, money. Thats it!
DTU result is about to come but our result will come most probably when the sem exams start I know that DTU has 240 students only but FOT,DU does not perform. The result used to come even after the first few practicals.
Research in DU ya thats why they have been banned from using radioactive equipment.
I would continue to disagree with the statement that DU students ie us will be better off than DTU ones. The new ones have come through AIEEE and its better than CEE. I think we both would agree to that.
The DCEites fell prey to traps set by the leaders. Dumbness is evident when they allowed final year students to give the exams and themselves boycotted when the protest leaders spread the fake news of SINE DIE the next day when they were under pressure from the fellow final year students. Most stories raised were fake and I know quite a lot of these leaders. they are worse than DU teachers.
@ ammar.. thank you for your comments.. whatever the maggots might say, my purpose is to point out the real ills behind the system.. its kind of like the CWG.. one day every thing is a big mess you make a nex committee and the next day 'all is well'.. you cant improve the institution by renaming it unless you address the fundamental flaws that plague it..
@ ammar.. thank you for your comments.. whatever the maggots might say, my purpose is to point out the real ills behind the system.. its kind of like the CWG.. one day every thing is a big mess you make a nex committee and the next day 'all is well'.. you cant improve the institution by renaming it unless you address the fundamental flaws that plague it..
@ enough.. thank you for your comments.. and the zeal with which you post them..
lets talk a little bit about the FOT. FOT is a branch of DU, which ensures that all the engineering programs within the aegis of DU are running as per the guidelines.. the exams in DCE are conducted by the teachers, the check the papers, make the results and send them to FOT which along with the attendence tries to ensure that the tabulated results are correct.. you have to understand that DU is a central university, they cannot afford any mistakes in marks or results or their asses get hauled to the courts.. they then send these results which go through three tired bureaucracy of academic section, OSD, Principal then back to FOT for one final check and then back to academic section to be displayed.. thus blaming FOT alone for delay in results is not appropriate.. even a weeks delay at any one of these steps delays everything by a a couple of months so please stop blaming DU for an absolutely broken system that exists within DCE...
the radiative leak incident in DU was an unfortunate incident that took lives and also destroyed the future of generations to come..someone fucked up in the 80s improperly stored a machine containing radioactive material which was incorrectly scrapped ,ore than 25 years later.. this administrative error does not marr the scholastic achievements of top DU faculty such as Dr manmohan and others whose credentials are known and respected by top Harvard faculty.. ( I heard this from those faculty directly not a third rate blogspot running false propaganda!!)
From my experience AIEEE and CE are the same.. I was the first batch to give both.. my national rank I AIEEE was 800 and in CEE was 326.. so I as a student see no difference what so ever in the difficulty level of the exam.. the only small positive thing out of AIEEE that the competition between outside general candidates would be fiercer that’s it!! For Pb sharma however, this gives ample opportunity to hold AIEE councelling for cheap and putting the rest of the money in his (NGF) for running his fiefdom!!
I don’t care about the protests or their leaders or their lies.. they may be lying but so are these blogspot operators who claim all is well with DCE just because it became DTU.. my new post that I am writing now will shed some light on the man himself.. behind this mess..
I think that just like the CWG in Delhi its not that the conversion of DTU is being minded so much but that what all was promised is not being delivered like PB announced that the semester toppers would get 10k but none of them have got that and in the hostels it has already being made clear that DTU is lacking funds. Seems that some people are trying to emulate the wrong person i.e. Suresh Kalmadi and like him the admin people might also turn into calamities. I read the DTU act recently and founf that although it was lacking in some areas but there is a scope if the right people are at the helm then they can put us very much at par to the IITs at least if not beyond that but the problem is also that we have faculties of DCE which know nothing and most if not all are useless so they only create problems for the administration even if they do something right. Well we know that there are a lot of corrupt people in admin but I do not think that the fund for DTU is any less than that of DCE. It would be more only but apparently PWD is not being paid because of lack of funds. This may mean that admin thought that there is more fund so lets eat a bit more but then they ate so much that they are not able to excrete it out. Some of the demands made by the protesters were very genuine i must say but even the genuine demands are not met. This shows how much is the value of students. The athletes in India are also given no respect and the same is happening with students. Fees was increased this year then also we have lack of funds such a corrupt admin we have. We require a clean up of admin of people like K singh, ranga, shukla etc It was published in TOI that Shukla was being removed and an inquiry was being initiated against PB but we don't see any signs of that either.
I personally think that there would be a very few people in this world who can run DCE/DTU and thought that PB Sharma was most likely one of them but recently he has also gone a bit haywire. If we remove him then also we will be at loss as some DCE teacher will be VC as even now also no pro-vc has joined.
Whatever happens we will definitely be at a loss as we would not get any better infra or teachers etc so this means that we are in the worst possible situation. I would really look to this blogger for an answer to what we should do? Protest has already failed to do anything any other ideas.
In fact admin also seems to be using online resources very well these days they are using students like this save dce is a myth and http://savedtu.blogspot.com/ and http://aglasem.com/ and http://dce.edu/ to spread their messages. They are even active on fb.
Although some faculty is good but some are bad also but the thing is that there is a variety of teachers in dce whom we could not in our wildest of dreams have imagined that they would be teachers.
Life in DCE was hell no learning no nothing all farzi engineers and its looking like that it will be the same at DTU.
The only inspiration is the film Nayak if something happens like that but currently we can only see the example of real life Indian president was APJ Abdul Kalam but now the president of India is just a politician.
did you get my previous comment which was deemed too large ?
yes i did.. i am working on my new post titled "liar liar pants on fire.. out with the maggots now comes the leader" some of your points i will answer there and will also try and reply to your post personally!!
thank you for your time and effort!!
But FOT makes too many errors in results and Believe me I am saying this as a sufferer of FOT's blunders.
On the basis of my AIEEE rank I would not have been in DCE but in some worse off college so I can thank CEE but yes AIEEE is better and is getting better.
Although that blogger was writing quite a many facts also but now he is also being autocratic he does not know much about the college. He is targeting wrong people but even the current leaders are targetable but he points out things which are really not suitable.
Earlier also after I was told about you then also I thought that he is doing wrong. He does have substance but is somehow lost now.
One more thing Saying that PB Sharma was behind that brawl let me tell you its not the case but there was actually an internal dispute which turned communal. The persons who were allegedly beaten are more than capable of beating someone brutally and i think that it may be that this was a false fight created to revive the protest.
Cell phone jammers are the scary part in the college campus these days.
@ enough thank you for your comments.. i am not saying that FOT is perfect.. they make mistakes yes but the mistakes you see in your results are a sum total of mistakes of an entire system and not just FOT
and further please find time to go through my new post. even if the VC did not order the students be beaten up the fact that DCE is now a fully autonomous university DTU makes him fully culpable and responsible for whatever happens on campus.. even if he does not order that students be beaten up, the fact that there was brawl on campus where students were beaten up is his responsibility
